Hey Everyone back again this week with a classic goon: Golden Oak Fruity Lexia.

Probably the most common price point cask wine for us uni students, Golden Oak costs $8.95 for a 4L cask at Dan Murphy's. Many love to hate it, but when times get tough it's a classic choice. If you've never had it before, it has a sweet taste which can get too much sometimes, with a alright not great fruity taste. An obvious mixer for this is plain old OJ, but if you're willing try it with creaming soda, which is actually pretty decent to mix with any goon. This stock standard cask wine will have you partying with your measly student budget any day.
